Well, it's a nice day here at Trenton Robbinsville and Mr. Hoover said it was ok to take 'er around the patch.......

Let me see now, master, mags, fuel selector, starter
switches etc etc are up above here....mixture and props forward...brakes set.

Clear left.....

Clear right.......beacon and avionics on...looking good so far....warm up
the engines. Gauges look normal.

Let's go before he changes his mind.....check
the brakes....Robbinsville
Unicom Commander
five zero zero Romeo Alpha taxiing to runway two niner Robbinsville.

Check the mags and cycle the props....trim
set.....controls free and easy

All lined up and ready for takeoff RWY 29. Checks complete.
Robbinsville traffic Commander five zero zero Romeo Alpha taking off runway two
niner Robbinsville departing east. Here we go. Bring up the power slowly....track straight down
the runway as we quickly accelerate.

And......rotate!

Positive rate of climb.......

Gear up.....

Up up and away! Flaps up.

Let's head east. That's the Delaware River behind us. Boy what a rate of climb!
Man, I thought the Hiperlight went up pretty quick but this baby's a rocket.
Let's close those cowl flaps. Don't want to overcool the engines.

Yup just around the patch. See ya later Bob. Maybe I'll
fly over Perl and buzz the Buzzards.

Don't see any activity down
there, let's keep
on going towards the coast

That's Allaire over there to the left

And that's Lakewood to my right....

Glad I brought my shades. That sun is bright.

It's not every day that I get this
opportunity to fly a famous aircraft owned by a just as famous aviator. This baby really scoots along
so I need
to watch that airspeed. What's Vne I wonder? Here we are heading south over the Barnegat Bay
at about 3400' just
past the Seaside Bridge. That's Island Beach State Park just off the nose. Up
ahead is the lighthouse and inlet. Didn't take long
at all to get down here. Think I'll call up in a bit to get a clearance thru the Atlantic
City Class C and grab a burger at Ocean City. Bob must have
figured out by now that I'm having too much fun to come right back. What could possibly go
wrong on a day like this?
