HEADS DOWN......SEAT BELTS ON!

These are some photos of St. Marten Airport. The planes impress most peole on the beach, flying over just seconds before touching down. Paradise for the beach lovers, having a lovely tropical beach, and for the aviation fanatics that spend hours on end observing the very low flying skills of commercial airline pilots.

This photo is from inside an Air France 747 on final. It gives you an idea of the small strip of beach just at the edge of the airport.

12 jumbo jets operate daily to this tropical resort. The 747 is the most impressive of all.
